About Nag Vasuki Temple

Dedicated to Lord Vasuki, the king of serpents, this temple is visited by a large number of devotees and tourists every year during Nag Panchami. The name of the holy Nag Vasuki Temple is also found in the Puranas. As mentioned in the Matsya Purana, it is said that the temple extends from the Pratishthana to the Vasuki pond and further to the area that is supposed to be the abode of the Nagas. Nag Vasuki Temple, is situated on the banks of the Holy River Ganga in the Daraganj area of Allahabad.
